“Perfect position!”

We have just returned from a trip to Thailand. We discovered wonderful Phuket and Patong Beach and cancelled a trip to Pattaya in order to stay longer. The accommodation we were staying in, in Patong Beach couldn't accommodate us for the last night so we jumped onto wotif.com.au and grabbed a night at the Burasari. WOW! We were totally blown away.

Firstly, the location. Less than 10 mins walk from Bangla Road, and right in the thick of the shopping, yet set back down the road not to be able to hear all the nighttime goings on of Patong - really, what more could you ask for?
When we checked in - we were greeted beautifully, and asked to take a seat while they arranged our room keys etc. We barely had time to sit before everything was ready. The lobby of the Burasari is wonderful, all open plan and allows for the beautiful afternoon seabreeze to bring some relief. Not only are there 2 wonderful pools, there are rooms that offer the ability to step outside and into the pool. Fantastic!

The big plus from both of us was the complimentary mini-bar and also the free wi-fi in the rooms! Where we were staying previously was 200THB for 1 hour of internet access - ridiculous!

The room we stayed in was absolutely beautifully decorated with a modern Thai feel and the bed.. it was HUGE and so soft. Our previous accommodation felt like we were laying on a thin piece of foam on top of bricks, by comparison.
Without a doubt, the Burasari is a jewel in the crown of Patong Beach, in Phuket. We saw many other hotels and spoke to other Aussies about their experiences with accommodation, and without a doubt the Burasari rates very highly. I have no doubt whatsoever that on our trip back next year we will stay here again. Absolutely 10/10

On arrival we were met by friendly and very helpful staff.the check in was simple and quick, the room was incredible on the first floor , room 2310 Decorated in a lovely thai theme and a four poster bed, Bathroom was great usual power shower but had a interesting set of windows which opened up into the bedroom idea for honeymooners!!!which we weren't !!! but soon put us in the mood.

The hotel had a relaxed feel water flowing around the ground floor, with swim up bar ,water features and great places to sit around the hotel and just chill..Breakfast was great from noodles to a fry up...Good location to the main strip, walking distance..

Stayed here for 8 nights and loved returning to my room each day for the peace & tranquility after the bedlam of Patong beach and the shops. This place is nice & handy to the beach and a 10 minute stroll to Bangla Rd. The room was a premier deluxe with a day bed on the balcony - just great to have a quiet read and a free beer from the mini bar. The pool was a perfect temperature and I could get a deck chair around 80% of the time - pretty good i thought. The breakfast was excellent and didnt need lunch after that! Only small complaint would be the frequent lack of hot water in the shower & the shower is a handheld contraption over the bath - not a biggie but a minor irritant. That is the only reason it doesnt get 5 stars from me.

The staff are very helpful & friendly. The lobby is very understated and openair which i really liked as you so often get big grand lobbies and very ordinary rooms - this place spent the money on the rest of the complex rather than waste it on a fancy lobby - well done. I normally never stay in the same place twice but with Burasari , i would make an exception and return here.

We stayed at Burasari Resort Hotel in Phuket on April 2008 for 5 days. My daughter and I were having a lovely time hanging out together around the pool area. We loved the small, boutique hotel atmosphere, cosy and quite intimate. The staffs were super friendly and nothing ever was a problem.

We will recommend the hotel to anyone (not with small children though) particularly young people, couple and honeymooners.(lovely theme room to choose from)

“Positive Experience!”

We stayed at the Burasari Resort for four nights in November 2007 (high season) and paid about $155 per night including taxes and service through ratestogo.com. It is a very nice boutique-style hotel rather than a resort. This place is very popular with young vacationers (20-30 something) from Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Our room was a comfortable premier-type (around 400 sq ft) with king size bed, bathtub in bathroom, and a flat screen TV. Good Points: Great location just across the street from the beach (south end of Patong Beach next to the Holiday Inn) and close by the main party street (Bangla Rd.) Beach basket is provided in the room complete with towels and beach blanket … you need to provide your own sunscreen. The hotel has its own section of the public beach complete with beach chairs, umbrellas and full service bar.

Nice pool and reception areas. Mini-bar filled daily with goodies for free including beer, soda, chocolates, etc. Full breakfast was included in the room rate and the food quality was excellent. Indian-influenced British restaurant on premises with its menu by a famous TV chef. Not so good points: You get only two bathroom towels with hardly any bathroom amenities/toiletries. No separate shower stall in bathroom. No alarm or any other type of clock in the room. Not all staff members speak good English.

This is a beautiful place and we had mostly a positive experience there

My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights and had the best time. The hotel staff from the moment you arrive are friendly, polite and nothing is to much for them. We found the hotel through this tripadvisor and must say we were not disappointed.

We arrived at 10.30am and check in is not until 2pm but after travelling to other countries we booked our room for early check in so it was ready for when we arrived which was great. We booked a premier room with pool view but tried to up grade to premier grand but all booked out. Would not bother with anything less than premier with pool view as the outlook is not very good. Premier grand or elite would be the way to go next time we stay and there will be a next time, that is for sure. Rooms are very comfortable, air cond, tv and a free mini bar every day. We received 2 bottles of drinking water, 2 beers, 2 cokes and iced tea every day for FREE. We took our own ice tray and made ice with the drinking water which we also used to clean our teeth. We also received fresh beach towels every day and a beach bag was in the room for our use at the beach.

Breakfast was brillant, full American breakfast with fresh fruit, toast, danishes, juices, bacon eggs (cooked any way you want) the list goes on. Breakfast is served 6am to 10am. Coffee is great.

Pool areas are beautiful. Swim up bar is very nice place to go at happy hour and get 2 4 1 cocktails and a great way to spend an afternoon.

There is a 7/11 next door which is great for extra water, potatoe chips etc. and there is also a laundry that will clean and press clothes for 90bht per kilo or 50bht to wash which is dirt cheap. Drop off one day collect the next.

We did not eat in the hotel restaurant, preferred to eat out on the street. Great restaurant is Sabai Sabai, down side street near coffee time sign, can be busy but is worth the wait for a table. Not a place to linger, eat and leave. We ate nearly every night there and even had lunch there a couple of times. Can't book.

Beach is a 1minute walk to the left and the market 1minute walk to the right. Beach chairs are hired out for 100bht (A$3.00) per chair for the whole day, come and go as you wish.

We booked tours through hotel as we felt you had back up from them if there was any problems which we did not have. Recommend elephant trek with dinner cruise on thai junk and Phi Phi island by speed boat. We also hired a tuktuk for 800bht (going rate, all the same price) for the whole day to take us where ever we wanted. We to Chalong bay, Chalong Temple, Giant Budha and view point. Great way to see a bit of the place.

All in all would recommend Burasari again - probably more couples than families though. There were a few families but with small children not teenages

“EBurasaro was fantastic
Luke_v Perth                                                                                                Jul 14, 2008

Burasari was a great little side street resort at the south end of Patong. My fiance and I booked there because it was within our budget and got good reviews.

Their restaurant was great, the rooms comfortable, the pool lovely and the location was perfect for us. Just a minute's walk from the nearest markets, and one minute from the beach. We didn't think much of the beach, much too busy and not very clean.

Cocktails at the swim up bar were cheap and happy hour at the restaurant bar was two for one. If you didn't want to eat at the hotel, just walk outside and there were plenty of places to take your pick from. The resort was a little noisy at night being close to the main drag, but it wasn't too bad. The upside was that being so close to everything there was no need for taxis or tuk tuks.

Our only complaint was that the air-con ticked and it was too hot to sleep with it off.

The Best of the Best

I am just back home from Thailand and I can tell you straight that Burasari Resort is the best Hotel in the country! My (new) husband and I checked in early in the morning about 9am. The room wasn't ready but thats normal for this time of the day. But instead of just telling us to wait they asked us if we would like some toast and coffee. We didn't need anything but it was a nice touch. We got into our room at about 11.30 and wow! the pool access is amazing. Withing about 2 seconds of the staff leaving the room we were both in the pool. That day we just lounged around and went out in the evening. Again wow! we came back about 10.30 to find rose petels all over our bed in the shape of a heart, fruit on the side and a beautiful cake. We couldn't believe one week into our honeymoon already and this felt like our wedding night.

Over the days everything was great no faults anywhere. We bumped into a fellow Irishman, known as the resident manager who came to say hello to us one morning when we were having breakfast and this was great. The staff at Burasari are all wonderful but its nice to meet and talk to someone who really knows what we wanted. He sent us to a little beach only five minutes away called Paradise beach and I'll tell you it was paradise. I will leave that for you to find and see for yourself because as we were told its a hidden secret from most tourists which is what makes it special.

Floyd's Brasserie and again a wow! The food was amazing and the place is so elegant. I do not eat in good restaurants very often but as it was our honeymoon and we now felt so relaxed and happy we decided to do it. The best meal we ever had. The chef danny came out and told us to try the lobster termidoor. Again wow!

All in all the Burasari did it for us. We stayed in hotels before there and after there and it is the one we want to go back to. The staff are all so friendly, look out for the small room service boy who says Ma'am and Sir all the time ( dont know his name). The two men who carry luggage Mr Tum and Mr Mong. The girls in the bar always remembering what you want to drink. Of course the Irish Man and Chef Danny who bring character to the place and pretty much everyone else.

I'll finish with a word I dont use very often....WOW!!! I dont know if the hotel staff read this sort of review, but if they do, we would like to thank everyone for making our Honeymoon so special.

Only stayed for a few short days and wished I could stay longer. My friend had stayed last month and he advised Burasari to me. I didn't book but when I walked in the door the pretty girl behind reception went out of her way to help me. After seeing 3 rooms I picked the middle one. Good size and very clean. Free daily minibar a nice touch for a beer before going into town for the night. Can't tell you about breakfast as I never got up before noon. Then straight to the pool for a dip and into the hotel bar for a cure. Everywhere I turned the staff were smiling to me and asking me if I had eaten. (I think its a Thai thing, very caring)

All in all very relaxing three days away from the stress of Bangkok. Will definately return to my friends at Burasari when I am back in Patong in a few months.

What a great hotel A little bit of magic and calm amidst the madness of vibrant Patong! Very friendly staff and management. Floyd's Brasserie of famous chef Keith Floyd is a culinery island in a sea of mediocraty. This is the second time we have stayed and it was even better the second time.

we just spent 2 weeks at the burasari, we only booked 10 days and loved it so much stayed the extra nights. you need to book the elite pool access room, we cant complain aboute anything it was so lovely, the staff were always friendly, the room always cleaned, the mini bar always filled and breakfast was so good, there is something for everyones taste buds. its a peacefull hotel with lots of atmosphere, so quaint and yet everything is at your doorstep. we used the laundry just outside and turn left its a chemist as well, very cheap. the indian ali baba is a few doors further on, yum. we ate there often. scruffy murphys on bangla road is the best food at the cheapest prices, the servings are huge and at around $4.00 who would complain, they have everything. we had no problems changing money on the streets, infact everything and everyone were lovely, if you are dog lover like me please go in the 7/11 and buy sausages they cost 20 cents each and go for a walk down the beach and feed the dogs, i did this twice a day.

we arranged for a man to pick us up from the airport and used him for trips, his name is manop and hes lovely and speaks good english, he took us to some great places and hes cheap, i held falcons and eagles and fed baby tigers milk from there bottles, a snake show elephant ride and would you beleive we sat with gibbons and had a drink, they sit right next to you, manop will take you to all these places, thats only a few things. he has a toyota van, very clean, if you want his email and mobile please ask me, we found him on here from other people who had used him. the shooping centre jungcylon is great, you must go downstairs the shopping and the massages are great. nothing opens in phuket untill 11.00 except the 7/11 which is so cheap you feel quilty. i got thai silk p.j"s and japanese style silk tops for $12 each and thai silk tie cufflinks and hanky in boxes for $10. all at jung cylon. and theres so much more, silk cusion covers that would cost a fortune for $3.00 who would ever complain, i cant wait to go back next year, i too walked thru the holiday inn and its nice but they have areas for the rich and the rest for us!! no thanks. the marriot next door should be finished in september and looks very nice but i think i will be sticking to the burasari, it was heaven and the smell is nothing really, just a bit musty, what can u expect the hotel was emerged in sea water right up and over the second floor. the mozzies were few and far between we just stuck a can of fly spray in our case. how lovely after walking home from dinner to go into your room and beable to strip down to your undies and walk straight into the pool to cool off, thats the best thing aboute elite pool access rooms.

Trish-Alex  Australia                                                                                   Jun 14, 2008

My husband and I stayed at Burasari in May 2008. We arrived at the resort at 9.30 in the morning & rooms were not available until after lunch apparently but as soon as we arrived we did the paperwork & were in our room by 10.00a.m. which was fantastic.

We had an Elite Pool Access Room (in the Chandra Wing) which looked exactly like it did on the internet (which was great as sometimes this does not happen). Our room was gorgeous with open mini bar everyday(Yes!). The huge showerhead was fabulous, bathrooms & living area spotless. All the staff in the hotel were probably the best we have ever encountered in our travels overseas. Nothing was ever any trouble for them. The only thing I could quibble about would be that the wardrobe is a bit small & the singer in the bar is a bit boring It was very hard to leave the resort & will definately go back again. Pay the extra money & stay in Elite Pool Access-worth the holiday.

We are just leaving the Burasari after staying a week... our first night didn't happen due to Qantas stuffing our flights around but the staff at the hotel were more than appreciative of our call to advise them we were running a day late.

The location of the Burasari is fantastic. Only 5 minutes from the main street - Bangala Road, across the road from Patong Beach, the Otop markets (main ones) are at the other end of the street - 2 minutes walk - AND YET you would never know all that existed when inside the Burasari.

It has a lovely calm, peaceful and very friendly atmosphere. There are 2 big pools, but not deep ones, a pool bar, a bar and Flloyd's Restaurant (international TV chef).

The room was great and a perfect size. Full cooked buffet brekky every morning! Didn't need lunch at all.Would definitley stay there again :)

I would stay again...

djbperry Melbourne, Australia                                                                   May 29, 2008

My wife and I stayed at the Burasari for the first 10 nights of our honeymoon. Upon arrival we were taken aside by the hatchet man and told of all things... that we had been downgraded from an Elite room to the Classic room. We thought he was joking until we were led to a small, dirty, dampish room overlooking a construction site in the far corner of the hotel - I still tipped the porter in disbelief I think - you gotta love that Thai smile.

It was not the perfect start to our honeymoon and we let the manager know this.
The worst part was that our travel agent - Harvey World travel in Oakleigh did not care at all. They acted like it was our fault.Anyway, after a series of meetings with the manager we were promised to be upgraded to the best room in the hotel after two nights. Well we enjoyed a free massage and a dinner at Floyds on the hotel - thank you very much. Dressed to the nines and buying extra drinks and tipping appropriately mind you, we didn't want them to think we deserved to be downgraded.

Anyway, we spent our first day trying to avoid the room and the next day took a boat to Freedom beach to relax - we came back to rainy weather and another night in the sad little "honeymooners suite".
I continually reminded the manager of our predicament and on the third day he came with good news "I have arranged for you and your wife to enjoy the rest of your stay in our best room"
Well, thank you very much the room was amazing - all lit up with candles, floral display on the bed and it was big with an LCD TV, big bathroom with double sinks, king size bed with backlit artworks and a balcony overlooking the street with a swing chair, huge daybed, a bar and large jacuzzi.

Yes Yen my man "You did it!"

I stayed at the Burasari in january, and it was by far the best hotel I have ever been to (out of many!)

When I arrived, lugging a huge backpack, the staff all went out of their way to help me with my bags, the reception girls were lovely, and upgraded me to a Elite Thai suite. The room was insanely beautiful, with lots of personal touches ie. they give guests their own beachbag with towels they can take to the beach and free minibar, etc etc.

The staff were so so super friendly, asking how my day was, offering tips on the best places to go. I got food poisoning from eating at a restaurant somewhere else, and they enquired how I was feeling over the next few days which was nice.

The hotel itself was amazing, the grounds and pool are so so gorgeous, and the restaurant was the absolute best I've ever been to. I loved Burasari so much I am planning my next visit at the end of the year!

Located at the quieter end of Patong Beach, with just a short 3 mins walk to the beach and shopping areas. We were received warmly during checkin with towels and a cold drink. Very friendly staff, always greeting you with a smile. My request for early check-in and corner room was fulfiled so we were very happy.

We stayed in the Elite pool access room. Room was very clean, modern with a comfortable king sized bed. Overall, a very cosy feel to the hotel.

We loved it so much that we were reluctant to leae at the end of our stay.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Burasari. It is a beautiful hotel with plenty of room for your own space and the friendliest hotel staff at any hotel we stayed at. The rooms were a good size, really clean and beds and pillows were comfy!Check in was easy (beautiful reception area!) and we were upgraded to a Premium Deluxe room both times we stayed there.

The extra touches were nice to add something different - like the day beds, huge shower heads, opening screen to the bathroom, free mini bar and the beach basket. The room service food was great, breakfast everyday was an amazing selection and I absolutely loved the day spa - decent prices for a hotel day spa and a relaxing experience.

The 2 pools were really clean and were never too crowded and the swim up bar was a big hit :)From the hotels I have seen in Patong, the Burasari is a fantastic choice for the price and service! I will definitely be back!

It was our first trip to phuket and also our honeymoon and my birthday.:) it was a surprise trip from my hubby.I must admit that when i learn that i am going to stay at burasari and look it up on the web, i was a little worried as the review werent very good.

But i am now glad that i stayed there. it been wonderful.we were greeted by the hotel very friendly driver at the airport. Drove in by a camry (which is okie for two person) and given drinks along the way. The driver told us abt phuket on the way there. We were able to get a early check in as our flight was really early.

As we have booked the mood collection rooms, our check in was done in the hotel rooms. we were greeted by the resturant manager, the hotel manager and the guest relation manager. Welcome drinks was serve in the room. I was given a birthday cake on my birthday. It was indeed a very kind gesture. Afternoon tea which was provided in our package was very good. and not to mention the breakfast served. the spread is good. we also tried the sunday brunch and yes yes, it was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!

the staff were friendly. The hotel is not big but the envirnonment is nice.:) try it!

I recently stayed at the Burasari hotel in patong good location as I was travelling alone and I am female...great to stroll to the beach and go shopping, I felt completely safe walking everywhere. I liked the hotel except if your into lounging in the sun all day this pool is not for you. rather shaded and small the beach is just down the road, but that beach is not what I look for in a vacation...dirty. too many vendors and not so pretty views. I went and used the facitilies at the Meridan and that was what I look for in a beach clean not so crowded and quiet..I guess I should have researched better..I tried but oh well all in all the hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful..I originally was put in a room over looking the lobby roof but I smiled and said that would not do...I paid for a premier pool view... they let me chose from 2 other rooms and all was good...I liked the outdoor bed on my patio and enjoyed the mini bar enough for 1 person. Liked the free beer to relax on your patio after the day!Language was no problem and "Pon" the luggage man was helpful every time I went out getting me a taxi or directions etc. It's nice to meet the local people whom are all very nice.

I found this hotel by accident surfing the net and wasnt disappointed. we booked the "Just the two of us" special which included fruit platter and wine on arrival. We didnt actual get it on arrival (we were very late)but they gave it to us as an accompanyment to a free 3 course dinner for two....also included in the room rate, as was a free 1 hour massage each. The room was an elite pool access room and was possibly the best positioned room in the hotel. Room 3109, ask for it.

It is shaded by palms for privacy and is in easy access but not too near the swim up bar. You can litereally roll out of the day bed into the pool, its just lovely. Im not sure where some of the other writers ate, but it wasnt the same place as we did. Breakfast is served from Floyds Brasserie (apparently it is the only restaurant owned by celeb chef Keith Floyd) The food was amazing and with an enormous variety. A word of warning if staying on a Sunday....The Sunday brunch that is available is HUGE. It is a magnificent buffet (approx 40 metres- i measured it) of international cuisine with something for everyone. I challenge anyone to try and have a bit of everything without exploding. The wine is free too and not too bad. The hotel also has late checkout available if you have a late flight like we did, its at half room rate, but worth it. I dont really care for Patong too much but you can just hang in the resort during the day and go haggling at the markets at night.

Shanghai                                                                                                     Feb 16, 2008

We arrived at Burasari during the Chinese New Year holidays. After reading reviews in tripadvisor, we asked at our reservation if we could have rooms (we booked the cheapest one) not facing the construction site of Marriot next door neither the front street. They respected our request and gave us a magnificent room on the third floor facing the big swimming pool! That was so cool!
This was just the beggining of a wonderful stay. Probably if they gave us the room facing the other buldings our stay would not have been so nice, since we've seen what that looks like when we saw through an open door, it sucks; what do u prefer, the view of a swimming pool and nice trees or the view of a wall? Those rooms should be much much cheaper than the rest, and as I see it in others comments, every people who complained about Burasari had that type of room.
The breakfast is incredible, and the afternoons by the pool were relaxing, with all the plants and incredible environment (much better compared to other fancy more expensive hotels in Patong, without this amazing atmosphere).
The staff was always very attentive, and we could even spend the afternoon after the checkout hanging around the swimming pool since our flight to Bangkok was in the evening. The room was beautiful and nice decorated, the bathroom was charming and we could enjoy the place in peace. Besides that, every minute is magnificent in Burasari! We can only stay to Burasari if we go back in the future to Phuket, we wouldn't change it for any of the other 5* hotels in there! Try it, you won't regret!!!

We arrived in Patong via ferry from Ko PiPi and were picked up from the ferry dock by the Hotel Bus. The bus was packed, but we were used to this kind of travel by now so we didn't mind. The Burasari was the last stop. We arrived at the lobby and were taken aback by the sight of it. Open air, fabulous colors and a view of the swimming pool. I told them who we were and when we had booked, and were ushered to some comfy seats to fill out our information (Hotels in Thailand always take your passport information). While we filled out the info they gave us a cold refreshing drink and some snacks. Once we were done we were taken to our room.
Rooms: Our room was well appointed and energy efficient (again a staple in Thai Hotels, to turn on the electricity in the room you must place your room key into electricity gauge) The room had a balcony with a swing (Rooms on the first floor have a patio, from which you can access one of the two pools) The bathroom had a huge tub, two sinks, and was tiled in mirrors. The water pressure rivaled that back home!
Restaurant: The restaurant/bar downstairs was delicious, I had dessert on the night we arrived… crème brulee, my favourite. The Breakfast buffet was to die for; so many options, both eastern and western. They even had an omelets station. They have live music in the bar most nights.
Location: The hotel is a few blocks from the epicenter of Patong, I was grateful for this, as Patong can appear somewhat seedy at night. I, however, never felt unsafe during my walk back to the hotel.

All in all I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat. Nothing compares to the luxury I felt while I was there.

“Honeymoon at Burasari”

More photos We have just returned from a wonderful 10 day honeymoon in Phuket. We stayed at the Burasari resort in Patong in an elite pool access room in the Chandra wing. It is a boutique resort and a lot smaller than the other resorts close by but this is what makes it so charming. The staff were very helpful and as it was our honeymoon, on our arrival there was champagne on ice, fruit plate and cake, rose petals on the bed and aromatherapy oil burning in the room. It was just lovely.

We found the room service and bar prices reasonable, however, the restaurant (Floyds Brasserie) was on the expensive side. We did dine there on the final night and found the service and food excellent.

There was live entertainment in the bar area almost evrynight and also 'Happy Hour' which was a nice way to wind down in the evening after shopping or sunbaking on Patong Beach.
We booked a few tours through the Hotel and found this an easy and reliable alternative to trying to deal with the tour brokers on the street. We highly recommend doing the Phi Phi Island tour as we enjoyed this the best.

The spa located at the hotel was clean and relaxing, although pricey. There are numerous other massage venues all over Patong charging much cheaper prices but some are not as clean or modest and men are often hassled for more than just a massage. If this is what your after fine, but if not you will find it gets rather annoying.

Overall we had a fantastic time at the Burasari and will definately return soon. Its a perfect place for a romantic holiday or just to totally relax.

"Absolutely Beautiful !"

We stayed at this resort for 4 nights and it was absolutely fantastic! My one and only complaint is that on the day we turned up, they gave us a room that was not as descriped on our booking (ie. no living room couch, and single sink instead of double). I am not sure whether this was the hotel's fault or expedia, as the hotel changed the names of their rooms after we had booked, which may have caused the confusion. The hotel was adamant that we had the right room, however we were still not happy. Because they were fully booked they couldn't do anything at the time, however they did offer to upgrade us to a better room after the 2nd night. When this time came, they actually upgraded us to a Mood room, which was a higher upgrade - so we were really impressed with that. The Mood rooms are huge and gorgeously decorated. Our verandah held a jacuzi, a bar table with stools, a hanging basket chair, and a sunlounge (!) - however it faced the front road so wasn't too private. The standard room was also quite nice, decorated more in the thai style with a small verandah.

Both bathrooms had the option of using a normal massage shower head, or converting the water to the rain shower (which is basically a shower head the size of a large dinner plate hanging right above you from the roof). There are two pools in this hotel, one was more suitable for children and the other adults, which was nice as we preferred the quiet one.

The staff are very friendly, and even though I had some communication problems they didn't quit trying to help understand me with an enquiry I had about medication (my husband got food poisoining, so beware the general food/water rules!).

The hotel is a block away from the beach, and only two blocks from the markets/nightlife. I would definately recommend it if you are looking to stay on Patong Beach.

"Amazing oasis in Patong!!!"

The pool at the hotel My husband and I stayed at the Burasari in late November for our honeymoon and had an absolutely fantastic time!

Highlights:
-Spacious open air lobby with beautiful, Thai-inspired decor
-Friendly service; every staff member we dealt with was courteous and warm
-We were always greeted with smiles!
-We had a poolview room with a large open balcony that had a daybed
   (with romantic netting around it)
  -The breakfast buffet was delicious!
-The bar/lounge area was gorgeous -- dim/candleit, live soft music, comfy couches,
   delicious drinks!
-3 minute walk to Patong beach -- perfect location as we were away from the busy streets
but very close by -- easy walk to main shopping areas, like OTOP markets

Overall we were across from the Holiday Inn (which we previously considered but booked with Burasari instead) -- I'm so glad we did! This place is a hidden gem truly...I highly recommend it for families and couples, young and old!

Burasari was a beautiful oasis quietly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach. It is approx 10 min walk to the main strip 'Bangla' but perfect location. Staff were a bit hard to communicate with and room amenities were not constantly replaced but overall we were happy with the service we received.

Would stay there again - Premier Pool Access Rooms a must!

This hotel is what everyone says for us it was perfect very quiet, friendly staff ,good clean, well equipped rooms, Floyds restaraunt was the best place to eat that we found eating there 4 out of the 7 nights we stayed here. we found the best rooms are the 2nd floor rooms overlooking the pool as the pool access rooms are not very private with people on the sun beds looking straight in. wish i could take this hotel on all my holidays. as a resort this part of phuket is very busy almost bedlam at times, but the Burasari was a peaceful haven.
